PEPPERMINT GROVE BEACH

Public BBQ

Peppermint Grove Beach offers a winning combination of natural beauty and practical amenities that keeps visitors returning. The clear waters and pristine sand provide an ideal setting for swimming and fishing, while the beach's orientation means it often remains calmer when coastal winds pick up elsewhere - though checking the wind direction before heading out remains worthwhile advice. The beach welcomes four-wheel-drive vehicles onto the sand and maintains a relaxed attitude toward dogs, allowing off-leash freedom that proves popular with pet owners. Families appreciate both the safe swimming conditions and the peaceful atmosphere that seems worlds away from busier coastal spots. Public toilets near the car park handle the practical necessities without fuss. Sunset transforms the beach into something rather special, and the local tradition of settling in with a beach chair and cold beer to watch the show feels entirely appropriate. The combination of reliable facilities, welcoming policies, and genuine natural appeal creates the sort of coastal experience that doesn't require embellishment.
